    This position will report to Senior Manager, Infrastructure services. This position will provide management and overall direction for the physical operation of the Burbank Studios Lot. The manager will direct on-lot trades and third party providers in order to provide a safe, professional and effective workspace within company policies and procedures.

      Responsibilities:
    • Manage and direct the daily activities of the studio on-lot trade shops: Electrical, HVAC, Utility, Plumbing, Mill, Paint, Landscaping
    • Manage safety of shops and workplace. Work with site safety department to implement safety work practices.
    • Manage the operation budget for the shops so that they stay at target; work with the shop foremen to ensure proper time card and charge back procedures are followed.
    • Develop maintenance schedules and policies that ensure a safe, professional and cost effective environment.
    • Organize and maintain facility infrastructure drawings, as builds and other records.
    • Develop, along with the Senior Manager Infrastructure, an annual OPERATIONS budget for the studio lot and an annual capital maintenance budget; these budgets should coordinate with a planned life cycle and long range maintenance program.
    • Review all infrastructure system designs for accuracy, adequacy, quality and completeness and recommend enhancements and replacements considering energy management opportunities.
    • Provide project management oversight to on-lot large scale capital maintenance programs.
    • Work with Disney Sourcing and Procurement & OPERATIONS Finance to obtain bids, create purchase orders and maintenance contracts that adhere to company policies and procedures and achieve cost savings.
    • Work with Design and Delivery team to provide input to the planning, and overall design of the infrastructure systems.
    • Other duties as assigned.
      Requirements:
    • Ability to proactively work with various project teams and individuals.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with labor force and OPERATIONS management teams.
    • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
    • Strong personal integrity and customer focus.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving and technical skills. Knowledge of mathematical calculations and computer applications related to technical design
    • Exhibit knowledge of plant OPERATIONS in order to specify proper equipment and develop maintenance policies and procedures.
    • Proficiency in use of electronic mail applications, Microsoft Office software and AutoCADD software.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and related construction documents.
    • Ability to use energy audit instrumentation or Building Automations Systems to collect date; monitor equipment status; to control and optimize operation; generate maintenance schedules and operation logs.
    • Experience with installation methods, testing, commissioning, validation and upkeep of documentation
    • Minimum 5 years experience in directing maintenance OPERATIONS in a campus environment; utilizing both union and non-union labor force
    • Post secondary technical degree preferred.
    • Familiarity with Integrated Work Management Systems software preferred.
    • Familiarity with applicable local, state and federal regulation and codes preferred.
