MICHAEL BURKE FOR PRESIDENT
J. Michael Burke is President of Burke Environmental Inc. He has been associated with the air filtration industry for 40 years. During that time he occupied positions in manufacturing, research and development and marketing. Burke has participated on various ASHRAE committees. He participated in the adaptation of NBS-Dill Dust Spot Test Method to the ASHRAE 52-76 Test Standard. He represented the Southern California ASHRAE Chapter by formulating and writing the codes for the California State Bureau of Hospitals. Burke has written various technical articles relating to the energy implications of air filtration equipment and the role of air filtration and air purification equipment in indoor air quality.

KARINE LEBLANC FOR PRESIDENT-ELECT
Karine LeBlanc is a Sales Engineer at US Air Conditioning Distributors. She has served as a Director and Chairman of E-Week Activities. She is a graduate from University of Montreal in Mechanical Engineering specializing in HVAC. Karine was the ASHRAE President of her University Student Chapter. She is a Member of the Society.

ANDY KHECHOUMIAN FOR SECRETARY
Andy Khechoumian is the chief mechanical engineer at Donald F. Dickerson Associates. He holds a BSME from Pacific Western University and an MBA from Woodbury University and is a registered Professional Engineer in both mechanical and electrical. Andy is a member of ASHRAE, NSPE, ASME, IEEE and several other professional organizations. Andy performs design work in HVAC for commercial and institutional buildings involving new, existing, and retrofit facilities. His experience includes project management and engineering design development for a broad range of projects. He is a member of society and is associated with the Southern California Chapter.

Jeff is an Energy and Sustainability Consultant for the Strategic Energy Group at Arup’s Los Angeles office. Jeff’s background is in building mechanical systems with a bachelors and masters degree in architectural engineering from Kansas State University. Jeff is involved in a wide range of energy projects including commissioning, retro-commissioning, energy auditing, renewable energy feasibility, energy masterplanning, and general sustainable energy consulting. Jeff was involved in the Kansas State University Student Chapter of ASHRAE and has been involved with Student Activities for the ASHRAE SoCal Chapter for the past two years. He is a Member of the Society.

Joe C. Ablay is the President of Integrated Consultants Inc. He has been an active member of the Southern California Chapter for many years. Joe has served as a Director, Chairman of the Golf Tournament, and Editor of SOL AIR, the Chapter newsletter. He is a valued member of the Chapter and will be a valued addition to the upcoming Board of Directors. He holds a BSME degree from the University of the East, Manila, Philippines and graduate in Executive Program in Management at the Anderson School, University of California, Los Angeles. He is a Certified Energy Manager and a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of California, Nevada, Arizona, Washington, Connecticut and Hawaii. He is a Member of the Society.

JOEY JIRON FOR BOARD of DIRECTOR
Joey Jiron includes 15 years of extensive experience with all phases of project management, HVAC design, plan check, and construction support. He has performed field surveys, heat load calculation, duct layouts, equipment selection, and sizing of auxiliary equipment. He is an expert in the use of AutoCAD and has implemented office standards for the Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, and AutoCAD departments of various firms. Additionally, he is well versed in the preparation of specifications, cost estimates and engineering reports. He is an active member of Society and has been the Sol*Air Editor for our chapter for three years.

AARON DEUTSCH FOR BOARD of DIRECTOR
Aaron Deutsch is the president of Drymaxx Air Solutions, LLC a manufacturer’s rep firm covering southern California. He is experienced in HVAC with a specialty in humidity control and energy recovery. He has worked with industrial commercial and institutional clients large and small solving their humidity problems. He served as a Director this past year. He holds a BSChE degree from City University of New York. He has been an ASHRAE member for 12 years and is also associated with many other organizations in aiding and supporting air conditioning in those industries. They include Pharmaceutical and nutraceutical organizations.

SCOTT J. NEITHERCUT

SCOTT J. NEITHERCUT FOR BOARD of DIRECTOR
Scott J. Neithercut is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He has been a field engineer for a geotechnical engineering firm, and an office engineer for a general contractor. His background in geotechnical engineering includes the monitoring of dynamic pile testing operations, the installation and initialization of inclinometers, as well as the transportation, disposal, and sampling of contaminated soils. As an Office Engineer he was responsible for the processing and submittal of owner and subcontractor pay applications, coordination of material deliveries, checking of shop drawings, submittal processing, project schedule updates, and the coordination of subcontractor operations. Currently Mr. Neithercut is working as an outside sales engineer for R.F. MacDonald Co who provides industrial and commercial boiler sales and service for over 33 manufacturers. His main focus is developing and maintaining relationships with the active engineering firms and contractors in West Los Angeles and Ventura County. Mr. Neithercut currently serves the Southern California Chapter of ASHRAE as the Sol*Air newsletter editor and is also a member of ASPE, ASHE, AEE and other professional organizations. Scott is currently working towards becoming LEED accredited and has been a member of the Southern California Chapter for three years.
